Journalists of leading Kazakhstan publishing houses and television channels got an opportunity to get acquainted with the history of one of the oldest and most significant enterprises of the domestic food industry, to evaluate the scale of innovations at the plant, and to learn the features of the technology for manufacturing products.
The main event of the media tour was the presentation and tasting of a new unique product - the first Kazakhstan mayonnaise with mare’s milk - “Festive Mayonnaise” (“Merekelik Provansal”).
Consumer preferences, which to a large extent create a demand at the food market, have shifted towards natural products in recent years, and the rich taste and useful properties of mare’s milk have been valued from the earliest times in Kazakhstan. It has long been established that mare’s milk contains about 40 biological components necessary for the human body. They are amino acids, microelements, A, C, E and B-group vitamins. Taking into account the fact that traditional Kazakh national products, including those released in an unusual modern format, are at the peak of popularity today, Eurasian Foods Corporation technologists decided to surprise consumers with mayonnaise containing mare’s milk.
The creative process of making a unique mayonnaise, which would embody the traditions of Kazakh national cuisine, took about a year. Mayonnaises under the brand name of “3 Zhelaniya” always favorably differed by the presence of natural milk in composition. Milk in mayonnaise is a very important ingredient, even in the Soviet times, the Provansal formulation was developed, which included this component. This was done in order to increase the biological value of the product. In addition, milk improves the taste of “3 Zhelaniya” mayonnaise, making it soft and full. In “Festive Mayonnaise” (“Merekelik Provansal”), mare’s milk combines well with other natural ingredients – egg yolk and sunflower oil. The new product is ideal for salad dressing, as a seasoning for the first and second courses.
At the company’s enterprises, mayonnaise is produced by the traditional “hot” way, which is based on the pasteurization process. This allows extending the shelf life of the product without the use of conserving agents up to five months. Despite the fact that this technology implies a longer and more expensive production process in comparison with the process that many competitors use, we believe that this is not an object of economy and are proud to adhere to the traditions of quality and produce mayonnaises by a classic “hot method”.
High quality and excellent taste of Eurasian Foods Corporation products were appreciated not only by Kazakhstan consumers. Over the years, the enterprise has been made supplies to the markets of neighboring and far abroad countries – to Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Mongolia.
